Every day people from around the world are forced to leave their homes and their countries because they are in danger. Sometimes they are in danger because of war, their religion, their political beliefs, their ethnic background or because their way of life puts them in danger of arrest, torture or death. There are 15 million refugees around the world. Refugees are people of every different race and religion.
